Yesterday, West Point defeated North Bend, 12-3; it was Wahoo over Dodge, 4-2. Arlington beat Scribner, 6-1.
The Blair junior and senior legion baseball teams hosted Springfield/Platteview, yesterday at Vet’s Field. In juniors action, Blair won 4-1. In Seniors play, Platteview won 8-7.
Despite another quality start from James Scurto the Fremont Moo were unable to hold a 1-run lead heading into the ninth inning Sunday evening at Moller Field resulting a 5-2 loss at the hands of the Pierre Trappers.
The Moo will get Monday off before returning to action Tuesday at home against the Casper Horseheads.

Ricky Knapp tossed seven innings and allowed just three runs, but the ‘Dogs were shut out for a second consecutive game in a 3-0 loss to the Kansas City T-Bones at Haymarket Park on Sunday evening.
Lincoln gets a rare home day off on Monday before the Winnipeg Goldeyes make their first and only visit to Haymarket Park during the regular season beginning Tuesday. First pitch time from Haymarket Park is set for 7:05 p.m.
