The First State Bank American Legion Seniors baseball team plays in the Omaha Central Tournament this weekend.  Competition begins today.

FSB Reserves beat Gretna, 7-3.  The Reserves are 3-3 on the year and host the Millard Sox Gold in a doubleheader tomorrow at the Schilke Complex.

The Blair Senior Legion baseball team plays in the South Dakota Tournament, beginning today, and running through Sunday.

Dodge County Baseball League

Last night: Dodge 7, Leigh-Schuyler 5

Jake Brune hit a walk-off 2 run homer in the bottom of the 10th.  He also hit a grand slam in the 5th.  Jake Brune finished with 2 home runs, a triple with 7 RBI .

Fremont Moo

The Fremont Moo earned a split of it’s two-game series with the Hub City Hot Shots, last night, with a 6-0 victory at Moller Field.  Daylon Owens pitched the complete game victory, tossing a 4-hit shutout, and striking out seven.  Third baseman Charlie Hesse had two hits, with a home run and shortstop Dillon Sears had two hits and three rbi’s.  The Moo begin a three game series at the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs, in Minot, North Dakota, beginning at 7:05, tonight.

Lincoln Saltdogs

Kyle Kinman gave up just one unearned run over 7.2 innings, and the ‘Dogs won for a second consecutive night with a 4-1 win over the Texas AirHogs at Haymarket Park on Thursday night.

The ‘Dogs are now back to two games over .500 for the first time since a 3-1 start, and Game 2 of the four-game series is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. on Friday night
