Wahoo Police Seek Public’s Help to Find Missing Man

The Wahoo Police Department is investigating a missing person case, and would like the public’s help

Anthony Potter, 50 years old, was homeless at the time he was last seen by members of his family, at the end of June. After that point, Potter was seen walking to a friend’s home in Wahoo. Potter has not been seen since, nor has he contacted family.

The Wahoo Police Department has been in contact with homeless shelters throughout the area, but none have housed Potter in the months since he was last seen. Potter may have been spotted in early July near the Memphis State Park in Memphis, NE – authorities were unable to verify that the person sighted was Potter, and did not make contact with anyone at that time.

The missing man was last seen wearing jogging pants and a blue shirt. Potter had a cut to the back of his head that would be healed and possibly scarred at this time. Potter is a white male, DOB 03-04-69. He is 5’11, 225 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos reading “Peace,” on his left hand, “FTW” on his right shoulder, and “For Mom 4-18-6” on his left forearm.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Anthony Potter, please call the Wahoo Police at (402) 443-4155.
