COLUMBUS – Columbus Fire and Rescue were dispatched after a vehicle rolled off 48th Avenue.
A Platte County Deputy on scene said the accident only involved one vehicle.
An SUV appeared to be driving northbound on 48th Avenue, north of Lost Creek Parkway, when it left the westside of the roadway. The vehicle came to rest on it’s roof, and suffered heavy damage.
A passenger in the vehicle was stuck for a period of time, but was able to escape the vehicle through the trunk.
The extent of any injuries is unknown, but no injuries from the accident appear to be life threatening. Rescue crews were dispatched just after 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
The accident remains under investigation.
