FREMONT – An act of vandalism resulted in a costly bill for the owner of one piece of repair equipment that had been sitting on a Dodge county rural road.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office took a report of vandalism to an orange 2002 John Deere Model 120 excavator. The excavator was parked on County Road S just west of County Road 26 when the windshield was broken out.
The incident occurred between 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 20th and 4:50 p.m. on Monday, June 24th. The damage is estimated at $700.
