UPDATE – 11:02AM Monday, 2/25: According to the Fremont Police Department, Jayden has been located and is unharmed.

FREMONT – The Fremont Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 14-year-old female who was reported as missing on Friday 02/22/2019.

Jayden M. Betts is a white female with blue eyes and brown hair.  She is approximately 5’6” in height and weighs approximately 200 pounds. She was last seen on the morning of Friday 02/22/2019 as she left for school.  Jayden spoke to her mother on the phone that same day at about 4:30PM.

It is unknown what exactly Jayden was wearing on Friday 02/22/2019.  She does have a tattoo on one of her forearms that reads “I am because you were.”

There is no indication at this time to suggest Jayden was taken against her will. “We have no reason to believe, at this time anyway, that any foul play is involved,” said Lt. Ed Watts.

Anyone with information about Jayden’s whereabouts is asked to call the Fremont Police Department at (402) 727-2677.
