Two Hit & Run Collisions Within Blocks of Each Other on Monday

FREMONT – Two more hit and run collisions occurred in Fremont yesterday, causing cumulative damage to the tune of $2,500. Both accidents were within half a mile of each other.

At approximately 3:45PM a hit and run property damage accident was reported in the 700 block of north I Street.  The victim reported that her 2009 Jeep Patriot was parked and unoccupied when it was struck by another vehicle, causing damage to the left rear fender.  The driver of the 2nd vehicle left the scene without leaving any contact information.  Damage to the victim’s vehicle is estimated at $1500.00.

Hours later, at 6:15pm, a hit and run property damage accident was reported in the 300 block of west Military Avenue.  The victim reported that his 2014 Toyota Camry was parked and unoccupied when it was struck by a 2nd vehicle. The driver of the 2nd vehicle left the scene without leaving any contact information.  Damage to the victim’s vehicle is estimated at $1000.00.
