Tigers Take Three State Titles at SkillsUSA Competition

GRAND ISLAND – Fifteen Fremont High School students competed at the Nebraska State SkillsUSA Leadership Conference in Grand Island, NE last weekend. The FHS SkillsUSA chapter returned to Fremont with 3 State Champions and a state runner-up.

By becoming champions in National qualifying events, Ivan Esparza (Welding), Jack Norris (Masonry), and Eric Romero (Plumbing) will be invited to represent the chapter, FHS, and the State of Nebraska as State Champions at the National SkillsUSA Leadership Conference. This conference, featuring champions from the other States and Territories, will take place in Louisville, KY in June.

Devin Roschewski (Precision Machining) competed in a State Only competition, and took home 2nd place.
