The “Fatal 50s” Featured at the Fremont Opera House

FREMONT – Murder. Mystery. Dinner. It’s all happening this week at the Fremont Opera House.

This week at the Fremont Opera House, Lee Meyer will direct “The Fatal Fifties,” an audience interactive murder mystery dinner theatre production. “It’s a real flashback to the 1950s,” says Meyer.

Even the dinner is straight out of a 1950s diner, and each night’s audience is encouraged to come in their best 50s themed attire or costumes to win a prize. Throughout the production, the cast will interact with the audience as they help private detective Nick Hardy solve the mystery while it unfolds around them. “The audience gets to help choose who the murderer is, so it’s all very exciting,” said Meyer.

This unique production stars Doyle Schwaninger, Don and Nan Cunningham, Cindi Nothwehr Lamprecht, Janet Chapman Larsen and Madeleine MacDonald. The show’s opening night, February 14th, is currently sold out. Tickets are just $20 per person, including dinner, and are still available for Friday and Saturday’s shows.
