FREMONT – Memorial Day may be over, but the time is always right to honor and remember those who have served our country.
RTG Medical is partnering with the Omaha Storm Chasers for “Honor and Remember Night” at Werner Park on June 9th. This night is dedicated to the ongoing recognition of military fallen heroes and their families, and to making sure our veterans are supported every day – not just on holidays.
RTG Medical is well known for their community involvement, and they’re no stranger to veteran’s issues. “As a veteran owned medical staffing agency, veteran organizations and events have always been causes that the company and our employees support,” said Amy Nieman, brand ambassador with RTG.
Headquartered right here in Fremont, RTG has cultivated a unique partnership with the Omaha Storm Chasers supporting the Honor Guard and National Anthem for the past two years and donating their corporate suite box to veteran families. For Honor & Remember Night, RTG will be supporting 250 Gold Star military families, so they are able to experience a fun night at the ballpark together.
Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Senior RTG Recuiter, Zach Crosby, is scheduled to throw out the first pitch.
In addition, the Omaha Storm Chasers’ employees will be participating in the Honor & Remember Nebraska Chapter 5K Run/Walk earlier that day. United States Navy veteran & RTG Medical’s CEO, Charlie Janssen, leaves a final thought, “As we enjoy America’s pastime we should always reflect on the brave Americans that have passed that have allowed us to enjoy our friends, families and most importantly, freedom. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.”
