FREMONT – After March’s devastating floods put a hold on their normally scheduled class, the Fremont Housing Agency and LifeHouse will offer another RentWise seminar on Wednesday, July 10th.
The class will cover topics like finding safe rental housing, budgeting, housekeeping & maintenance, and other key components to being a good renter. The class is taught in six modules, and includes lunch. Current residents in FHA housing or participants from in programs at either LifeHouse or a Fremont Housing Agency program can participate in RentWise for free. The cost per participant for the public at large is just $5.00, which covers the cost of materials.
The class will be hosted at Gifford Tower (2510 N Clarkson, Fremont) from 8:30AM to 4PM, on Wednesday, July 10th. Interested participants should preregister by July 1st. To register, call Jessica Timm at LifeHouse (402) 721-3125 or Tina Dooling at the Fremont Housing Authority: (402) 727-4848.
