FREMONT – Whether it’s your first home or your fifteenth, renting a place to live can be a difficult and confusing process for some. Two Fremont agencies will demystify the process and teach good renter skills this spring.
The Fremont Housing Agency and LifeHouse will offer another RentWise class on Saturday, March 16th. The class will cover topics like finding safe rental housing, budgeting, housekeeping & maintenance, and other key components to being a good renter. The class is taught in six modules, and includes lunch. The cost per participant is just $5.00, which covers the cost of materials. Current residents or participants from in programs at either LifeHouse or a Fremont Housing Agency program can participate in RentWise for free.
The class will be hosted at Gifford Tower (2510 N Clarkson, Fremont) from 10AM to 6PM, on Saturday, March 16th. Interested participants should preregister by calling Jessica Timm, LifeHouse (402) 721-3125 or Tina Dooling, FHA (402) 727-4848.
