Police Investigate Two Vehicle Damage Complaints Within Blocks of Each Other

FREMONT – Police responded to two vehicle damage complaints yesterday, one hit and run and one instance of criminal mischief.

Early yesterday morning, just after 7AM, a hit and run property damage accident was reported at a residence in the 2500 block of Missouri Avenue. The victim’s vehicle, a 2002 Chevrolet Bravada, was parked on the street in front of the residence when it was struck by another vehicle.  The operator of the 2nd vehicle drove away without leaving any contact information.  Damage to the victim’s vehicle is estimated at $3,000.00.

About two hours later and just blocks away, a criminal mischief complaint was taken at a residence in the 2800 block of north Hogan Lane.  The victim reported that his vehicle, a 2006 Dodge 1500 pickup, was parked in front of the residence when an unknown person broke eggs on the vehicle, causing about $100 in damage to the truck.

Both incidents are under investigation. If you have any information about either incident, contact Fremont CrimeStoppers at (402) 727-4002 or leave your tip anonymously online at P3Tips.com.
