FREMONT – As part of the Planet Fitness National ‘Teen Summer Challenge’ Program, the local PF gym will invite area teenagers aged 5 – 18 to work uut for free from May 15 – September 1. Free fitness classes specifically for teenagers will also be available Monday through Friday via certified fitness trainers.
New research shows that 91% of teens want to stay active over the summer, and that’s why Planet Fitness is offering teens a safe space to spend their time in a healthy way. All teens who sign up for a free summer membership, beginning May 15, are automatically entered into the Planet Fitness’ Scholarship Sweepstakes. By the end of the summer, 51 lucky teens across the nation will be randomly selected to receive a $500 scholarship, and one teen will receive a $5,000 grand prize scholarship.
Teens who are new to gym environments will appreciate the Planet Fitness “No Judgement” policy, which promises that Planet Fitness gyms are a place where you can workout without judgement, laughter, or intimidation based on the way you want to exercise or the way you look when you do.
To sign-up, visit the Planet Fitness location in Fremont, beginning May 15. Teens under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at sign-up.
