One Cited for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor After Party

FREMONT – Several teenagers were cited for alcohol and possession offenses on Friday night when neighbors took note of a loud party.

On Friday April 13th just before 11PM, Fremont police officers received a noise complaint from an apartment complex in the 1800 block of east Dodge Street. The complainant  informed officers that a party in the building had become disruptive.

When officers arrived, they could smell the odor of burnt marijuana in the common stairwells.  Officers then located the apartment from which the smell was emanating, and had contact with a juvenile male who allowed officers into the apartment.  Once inside, officers had contact with the party-goers, including several juveniles and an 18 year old male.  Officers observed marijuana in use and alcoholic beverages.

As a result of the investigation, the 18 year old, of Fremont, was cited for Possession of Marijuana less than one ounce, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. 3 juveniles, all from Fremont, were also cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and released to their parents.
