FREMONT – A popular percussion performance group that was scheduled to stop by the Keene Memorial Library is moving its show to the Fremont City Auditorium.

Due to the overwhelming response to the planned Monday June 18 performances by Omaha Street Percussion, the Library is moving the event to the City Auditorium at 925 N Broad Street, thanks to the help and cooperation of the Fremont Parks & Recreation department. The shows will take place at 11 am and 1 pm.
OSP infuses drums and dance together to create an upbeat show with household items like pots, pans, buckets, and trash cans for instruments. Their engaging, interactive performances are perfect for families and children. Audience interaction and participation is a major part of the OSP performance experience. Fremonters may be familiar with the Omaha Street Percussion group, as they performed before last year’s John C Fremont Days parade.
Registration for next Monday’s event is encouraged in order for the Library to plan for the number of chairs needed. To register, visit fremontne.evanced.info/signup or use the event registration link on the Library’s home page (fremontne.gov/library).
