COLUMBUS – No injuries we’re reported after semi collided with a pickup hauling a cattle trailer in southern Columbus.
Police cited the driver of the truck that was hauling cattle, for pulling out in front of a southbound semi, says reports. The accident occurred at the intersection of 8th Street and 33rd Avenue, and the semi appeared to have collided near the hitch area of the truck and trailer, says the reports.
Both pickups were totaled in the accident and a light pole suffered $3,000 in damage, in the southwest corner of the intersection, says reports.
Crews were on scene for several hours Wednesday evening.
No information was in the reports, regarding any injuries for the cattle being hauled in the trailer.
