FREMONT – An investigation into a shattered vehicle window yields no suspects or witnesses.
According to Lt. Ed Watts with the Fremont Police Department on Tuesday at approximately 10:05 p.m. officers responded to a criminal mischief complaint in the 1200 block of Ruth Avenue. It was reported that a 2000 Ford Explorer was parked on the street, and an unknown person smashed out the back hatch window. There were no witnesses to the incident, and currently there are no known suspects. The damage was estimated at $500.
And at 10:20 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 1700 block of N. Broad Street after observing a vehicle fail to yield to a stop sign. The driver was identified as Zachary G. Storz, age 28 of Omaha. It was discovered that Storz was driving on a suspended license, and as a result he was cited for Driving under Suspension and Violating a Stop Sign.
