FREMONT – In a spate of vandalism spanning east to west across Fremont, car & truck owners were left with thousands of dollars in damage this weekend.
Saturday night at 9:30PM, the Fremont Police responded to a property damage report at a residence in the 2800 block of north Broad Street. The victim reported she parked her 2006 Pontiac G6 outside of her residence and an unknown person smashed the back window out. There were no projectiles or impact objects found at the scene so it is unknown exactly how the window was broken. Damage is estimated at $500.00.
Sunday saw two more incidents. First, around 12:45PM police responded to a residence in the 2500 block of Nebraska Avenue to investigate another property damage complaint. The victim reported he parked his Dodge Pickup in the driveway of his residence and someone broke out the rear passenger side window. Damage is estimated at $300.00.
Just 45 minutes later, at 1:30PM, police were called to a third damage to property complaint at a residence in the 1600 block of east Cuming Street. The victim reported he parked his 2016 Chevrolet Camaro outside of his residence and someone caused damage to the front window and slashed the convertible top. Damage is estimated at $2000.00 in this incident.
The Fremont Police department has no suspects in any of the three incidents.
