FREMONT – The Midland University Dance team and Three Hearts Dance of Jacksonville, Florida may usually be considered competitors. This Saturday, the two squads will join forces to present an evening of dancing, music & entertainment to raise funds for flood relief.
This Saturday night, July 27th, from 7-10PM at the Kimmel Theatre on the Midland U campus, the two teams will perform live and show off film creations by Midland University Dance and Three Hearts Dance students.
The concert is free to attend, with the dance teams accepting freewill donations at the door. Donations $20 and over will get attendees entered into a raffle, filled with goodies from local Nebraska-based businesses.
100% of donations will go to Nebraska Strong, a partnership between NEMA and the Nebraska Preparedness Partnership. This fund goes directly to communities affected by the floods, and will help with housing recovery, neighborhood revitilization, small business assistance, health & human services, clean up and restoration of natural resources, and repairing/replacing destroyed infrastructure.
