Metro Community College & Structural Components Partner for Job Readiness Program

FREMONT – Metro Community College’s “Career Placement Program” can help you get interview-ready and may even land you a job by the end of the week-long seminar.

Metro has paired with Structural Component Systems for their upcoming Career Placement Program, which offers four classes and ends with the chance to interview with – and even get hired on – at SCS. Classes will be held Monday, September 16th through Thursday, September 19th. The class schedule is broken down into four topics:

  • Monday: Employer Presentation & Work Ethic Certification
  • Tuesday: National Career Readiness Certification & Resume Prep
  • Wednesday: Customer Service Certification
  • Thursday: Resume Finalization, Interview Prep & Professional Dress

Each class will run from 9AM to 5PM, daily during the class week, and classes will all be held at Metro Community College’s Fremont Campus, Room 305. The class needs a minimum of 5 participants to be held, and there is no cost to attend. Participants must attend and complete all four sessions to be eligible for the interview/hire process.

To register for class, contact Angela Baker, MCC Career Skills Coach, at (531) 622-4714 or by emailing arbaker@mccneb.edu.
