Library’s Summer Programs Relocated to City Auditorium

FREMONT – The Keene Memorial Library has a reputation for great summer programs for kids, and the demand has officially outsized the library’s facilities.

“Due to the overwhelming response to the library’s Monday programs,” said Librarian Laura England-Biggs, “we are relocating all of our Monday events to the City Auditorium.”

The Monday programs will feature everything from magic to music, and kids of all ages are welcome at the demonstrations. This summer’s performances include:

  • Monday June 3, Jeff Quinn – Magician
  • Monday June 10, Wildlife Encounters
  • Monday June 17, SAC Museum – Under Pressure demonstration
  • Monday June 24, Dr. Oxygen! – Science demonstration
  • Monday July 1, Dino O’Dell – Singer/Songwriter

Each week features four shows at 10 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm and 3 pm. Reservations are available one week in advance. Call the library at 402-727-2694 or go online to fremontne.evanced.info/signup and look for the program name and time you want. You can even receive text or email reminders about your event when signing up online.
