FREMONT – One of the Hooper residents arrested in a III Corps Drug Task Force investigation involving the Iron Horse Food and Spirits Bar was arraigned in District Court.

Chase D. Larson-Maurer, 21, is facing Two Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Deadly Weapon during the Commission of a Felony.

Larson-Maurer did not make an appearance in court, but he and his attorney did file a not guilty to all charges by written waiver. The court accepted the waiver and a new court date will be sentenced for a Status Hearing. According to Dodge County Attorney Oliver Glass they may or may not have a plea agreement worked out before Larson-Maurer’s appearance in court for the Status Hearing.

Larson-Maurer along with 54-year-old Carmen D. Maurer and 65-year-old Dale R. Maurer were arrested after the task force executed a search warrant at the Iron Horse Food and Spirits Bar in Hooper in September of 2017.
