FREMONT – If you head across the Highway 77 Platte River bridge as part of your daily commute, you’ll want to add a few minutes to your travel time beginning Monday, May 14th.
Weather permitting, there will be lane closures on the bridge from May 14th through June 30th, as the Nebraska Department of Transportation applies an epoxy polymer overlay to the bridge deck. Traffic will be down to single lanes, both directions. Speed limits are likely to be reduced.
Drive cautiously through construction zones, especially when workers are present, to avoid damage to your vehicle, citations and fines, and physical injury.
