“Keys to Fremont” Event for Care Corps Has Venue Change

FREMONT – This Thursday, Care Corps will hold their first ever fundraising dinner, presented by Pinnacle Bank. The event was previously booked at the Fremont Opera House, but the venue has since become unavailable.

Yesterday, staff at Care Corps were informed that the Opera House is currently being surveyed for structural integrity, and will not be available for rentals or to the public for the time being. Morgan Bridgman, director of development for Care Corps, said that they called all over town to find a new venue in time for the Thursday night event. “A few board members were able to help us secure Delaney Hall at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, just in time.” All the catering and speakers are still on board at the new venue, as well.

Tickets to the Keys to Independence event are still available. Guests will hear stories of success, hope, and independence from the formerly homeless or near homeless in our community. It’s a great opportunity to see the important work done at Care Corps first hand.
