Hit and Run Accident Injures 13-Year-Old Female

FREMONT – A teenager sustained minor injuries after a hit and run accident.

According to Lt. Ed Watts with the Fremont Police Department, at approximately 6 p.m. on Thursday a hit and run personal injury accident was reported in a business parking lot located in the 3300 block of E. 24th Street. It was reported a 13-year-old female was injured when the vehicle she was getting into was struck by another vehicle backing out of an adjacent parking lot.

The collision caused an open door on the victim’s vehicle to close on the girl’s leg, causing minor injuries. The driver of the second vehicle then drove away from the scene. The second vehicle was described as a silver four-door sedan, possibly a Chevy Impala. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.

At 10:30 p.m. officers responded to a complaint of a disorderly female at a residence located in the 800 block of E. Military Avenue. Officers had contact with 25-year-old Brandi N. Roth of Fremont. Roth was accused of damaging another person’s property at the residence, and when officers attempted to detain her she resisted and fought with officers. Roth was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of Third Degree Assault of a Police Officer, Disturbing the Peace, and Disorderly Conduct.

And at approximately 11:15 p.m. it was reported an individual, identified as 33-year-old Clinton M. Webb of Papillion, was sitting in a parked vehicle outside of an ex-girlfriend’s residence in the 1600 block of E. 3rd Street. After officers made contact with the victim it was learned Webb had also been to her place of employment and had been sending text messages.

Webb admitted to officers he was in Fremont specifically to attempt to talk to the victim and also admitted to being at her place of employment and attempting to contact her on the phone. Webb was arrested and charged with Stalking.
