Halloween Happenings: Plenty of trick or treat opportunities before Halloween

FREMONT – When it comes to Halloween, parents and children alike want to get in all the fun and festivities possible before the time comes to hang up the costumes for another year. Fortunately, there are plenty of opportunities coming up for Halloween fun.

Friday, October 26th

  • Keene Memorial Library – Haunted Bookstacks Maze on the 2nd floor and children’s games and crafts on the 1st floor. Costumes are encouraged and candy will be flowing. The event is free, but we will be accepting donations toward the library expansion project.  6PM to 8PM, 1030 N Broad St

Saturday, October 27th

  • Parkview Center Halloween Spooktacular – Trick or treating, costume contests, prizes and outdoor games. 10AM to 12PM, 1900 E Military Avenue – Fremont
  • Izaak Walton Trunk or Treat – Open to the public! Trick or treat the decorated cars at Izaak Walton Campground. 2560 W Military Ave – 2PM to 4PM

  • ADULTS ONLY: UYSS Halloween Bash at The Rox – $10 Entry, Cash Bar. There will be music and dancing, a costume contest with 10 categories to win in, raffle items, cupcakes, and all of the proceeds go to a GREAT CAUSE! All proceeds are donated to Uniquely Yours Stability Support here in Fremont! 21+ only.

Sunday, October 28th

  • Camp Fontanelle – Search for Treats is a fun family event. Guests will go through our corn maze searching out volunteers in the maze handing out treats. Included with regular admission: Children ages 3-11 $5.00 Adults ages 12+ $7.00. Cash or check only for pumpkins, cash/check/card for entry fees. Treats Maze 2PM to 4PM – 9677 CO RD 3 Fontanelle, NE
  • Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Fall Festival & Chili Feed – Trick or treating, games, prizes, chili feed (small: $3, large: $5) 5PM to 7PM, 1440 E Military Avenue – Fremont

Monday, October 29th

  • Keene Memorial Library in Fremont will be hosting a Spooky Poetry event. Themed refreshments will be provided.  We invite you all to hear Halloween-themed poems with John Mullen! For more information, please contact the library. 6PM – 7PM – 1030 N Broad St

Wednesday, October 31st

  • StoneBridge Christian Church – Stop in for treats, caramel apples, hot cocoa and cider and a costume photo booth that enters you to win a prize pack! 5:30PM – 8PM – 1041 N Nye Ave
