VALLEY — Although construction of the highly anticipated Quasar Drive-In between Fremont & Valley will be on schedule, the groundbreaking ceremony will be limited to the family of its owners, as CDC guidelines and a Douglas County direct health measure insist on limiting public groups to 10 individuals or fewer.
“Quasar feels very strongly that everyone should heed the guidelines regarding gatherings of 10 people or less,” said owner Jeff Karls. “Therefore, we have decided to conduct our groundbreaking as a small private event. Construction is still on schedule and will begin Monday the 23rd.”
The general public will still get to experience the groundbreaking, albeit digitally, as the team at Quasar will capture the event with video, photos and a Facebook livestream. (Like Quasar on Facebook)
“It’s key to protect all members of our community while we fight this outbreak,” Karls said. “The sooner we all do our part, the sooner we can return to normal.”
