FREMONT – Governor Pete Ricketts announced that he would host a town hall in Fremont on Friday, January 17 during his State of the State fly around. The Governor invites the public to attend the event.
“This is a great opportunity to hear an update on how our state is growing, and about the Governor’s plans for property tax relief during the 2020 legislative session. The Governor looks forward to visiting directly with you about how we can move our state forward together,” Taylor Gage, the Governor’s Director of Strategic Communications, said.
The Governor will make remarks before taking questions. This event is open to the public.
The town hall will go from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on January 17. It will be located at Midland University on 900 N. Clarkson Street in Fremont. Participants will meet in the Private Dining Room in the campus cafeteria.

Gov. Ricketts also announced that he will be holding a press conference in Grand Island, prior to the town hall, on Wednesday, January 15. This event will be in conjunction with the State of the State fly around and the public is invited to attend.
