LINCOLN – Today, Governor Pete Ricketts and a handful of other state officials will provide the public with updates on flood relief efforts throughout the state.

Governor Ricketts will be joined by Nebraska Adjutant General Major General Daryl Bohac, Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Assistant Director Bryan Tuma, Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) Director Kyle Schneweis, and Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) Major Russ Stanczyk.

The assembled officials will release information about the current status of the state’s recovery from the March flooding, and discuss new severe weather that is expected to cause some impacts throughout Nebraska this week. While our particular area of the state is expecting mostly rainfall with the possibility of a wintry mix from this week’s storm, other parts of Nebraska will be faced with blizzard conditions once again.
