FSB Shuts Sedalia Down, 8-2 in First Game at MidSouth

HASTINGS – The First State Bank American Legion Seniors baseball team began the 2019 Mid-South Regional Tournament with a big showing yesterday at Duncan Field, in Hastings.

First State, the Nebraska State Champion, defeated the Missouri State Champs from Sedalia, Missouri, 8-2.  Highlighting the day was starting pitcher Brody Sintek, who pitched a no-hitter, striking out 13:

Third Baseman Austin Callahan led an 11-hit performance for First State, by going 3-for-4 with three rbi’s:
