Fremont Police Use Taser to Subdue Man After Domestic Altercation

FREMONT – Last night, Fremont Police officers had to deploy the use of a taser to subdue a man who resisted arrest after striking his spouse.

Just before 10PM on Tuesday, Fremont Police responded to a call for assistance at a residence in the 200 block of north Clarkson street. A man was reportedly assaulting his spouse. When police arrived at the scene, the man refused to comply with officers’ instructions and resisted arrest. When he became belligerent and physically out of control, one of the responding officers used his taser device to take the man into custody.

Aaron C. Baker, 39, of Fremont was arrested and charged with 3rd degree domestic assault, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
