FREMONT – A string of unrelated thefts were reported across Fremont yesterday, with losses ranging from $100 to over a thousand.
Monday morning, a child’s bicycle was reported stolen at a residence in the 600 block of north Christy Street. The bike is described as a black Hyper Bike Spinner boy’s bike, and is valued at $100.00. The bike is thought to have been stolen within the last day.
Later that morning, around 10:00AM, Fremont police responded to a burglary report. An office space in an apartment complex located in the 2600 block of north Laverna Street was the victim of a forced entry burglary sometime in the overnight hours. A door was damaged during the burglary, and various tools were stolen from the office area. The total loss is estimated at approximately $1100.00.
Just twenty minutes later, Fremont police responded to another theft report, this time from a vehicle parked at a residence in the 3000 block of Marian Lane. The unlocked vehicle was entered into by an unknown person and a backpack containing clothing items was stolen in addition to $17.00 cash. The total loss is estimated at approximately $200.00.
