Fremont Police Respond to Two Neighborhood Disturbances

FREMONT – Police responded to two unrelated neighborhood disturbance calls in the overnight Tuesday-Wednesday hours, resulting in the arrest of one man and citations issued to two unsupervised teenagers.

Wednesday around 1:00AM, police received a report from a concerned citizen who had observed two individuals peeking into windows in the 700 block of Empire Avenue. Police responded and witnessed two juveniles in the area behaving suspiciously. The two, a 16-year-old male and 13-year-old male from Fremont, attempted to flee the scene. They were unable to do so, and both were cited on suspicion of Obstructing the Police.

Later, at approximately 3:30AM, police responded to another disturbance complaint in the 400 block of west 23rd street. Justin AM Shannon, 24, of David City, NE was arrested on suspicion of Criminal Mischief and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and was taken into custody.
