Fremont Police Respond to Multiple Similar Calls Over Weekend

FREMONT – Fremont Police responded to multiple calls this weekend, some on the same issue, others on the same man.

Friday night and into Saturday morning, police responded to several different locations across town where disturbances were reportedly taking place. In each of three instances, police had contact with Andrew R. Christensen and he received warnings about his disruptive conduct. Around approximately 5:30AM, when police had contact with him for a third time in just a few hours, Christensen, 29, of Fremont was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

Also this weekend, Fremont Police responded to six separate theft-from-vehicle reports. The complaints were all regarding persons stealing things from parked vehicles, mostly during the overnight hours.

Three of the victims acknowledged leaving their vehicles unlocked. The Fremont Police urge residents to lock their vehicles, leave porch lights on in the overnight hours, and park in driveways when possible. Never keep any valuable property inside your vehicle.
