Fremont Police Make Several Arrests Thursday

FREMONT – Several arrests were made on Thursday in Fremont for various offenses, ranging from possession of drug paraphernalia to violation of a protection order.

Just after 5AM, Fremont Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked and occupied in the 200 block of north Logan street. Police responded, and as a result Blake A. Hill, 33, of Fremont was cited on a suspicion of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also cited was Carter Mitchell, 21 of Fremont, who found himself arrested by III CORPS later that day.

Later that afternoon, Fremont Police responded to a retail store in the 500 block of west 23rd Street to investigate a suspected shoplifter. At 1:30PM Johnathan C. Baier, 39, of Fremont was arrested on suspicion of Theft by Shoplifting and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine.)

Finally, just after midnight, Fremont Police responded to a domestic disturbance  at a residence in the 2100 block of north Broad Street. Police investigated, and no injuries were reported, but Michael C. Gangi, 52, of Fremont was arrested for Violating a Protection Order.
