Fremont Police Make Multiple Methamphetamine Arrests on Saturday

FREMONT – The Fremont Police made several drug arrests this past Saturday, each in connection with other complaints or offenses like disturbing the peace or driving with a suspended license.

On Saturday 01/12/2019 at approximately 1:15AM David D. Duncan, 41, of Fremont and Tia J. Svoboda, 38, also of Fremont were arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine following a disturbance complaint at a residence in the 800 block of north Main Street. Officers responding to the call observed drugs on a table and the drugs tested positive for methamphetamine.

About an hour and a half later, police placed Brian S. Vogt, 42, of Cedar Bluffs, NE under arrest on suspicion of possessing controlled substances (methamphetamine) following a disturbance complaint at a residence in the 1100 block of north Broad Street.  Vogt was accused of acting erratically and causing damage to an acquaintance’s residence and causing a ruckus outside of the residence and disturbing neighbors.  He was also charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

Later Saturday morning, around 8:00AM, Coby R. Bendig, 30, of Fremont was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 900 block of west Military Avenue.  During an inventory search of Bendig’s car a glass pipe containing residue that tested positive for methamphetamine was found.  Bendig was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance.
