Fremont Police Investigating Several Thefts

FREMONT – The Fremont Police Department has received several theft complaints this week, two from the same construction site and one from a residence on Military Avenue.

On Wednesday morning between 10:20AM and 11:20AM, two different thefts were reported at the Lincoln Premium Poultry building site, located at 1000 E. Cloverly Road.  Two valuable tools were stolen from the job site: A blue Miller Max wire welder valued at $1,700, and a multifunctional stick welder valued at $3,500. There are no known suspects, and it is not known exactly when the thefts occurred.

Just this morning, around 7AM, police responded to another theft report, this one from a residence in the 300 block of west Military Avenue.  The victim reported her vehicle was parked and left unlocked overnight last night, when someone entered the vehicle and stole a slew of items including cash, her social security card, wallet, a backpack and a pair of Apple brand “Air Pods” headphones. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $400.00.
