Fremont Police Arrest Two, Cite One in Weekend Incidents

FREMONT – The Fremont Police responded to a collection of incidents over the weekend, making multiple arrests.

In the overnight Friday-Saturday hours, around 3:00AM, police were called to a residence in the 1300 block of east 4th Street because the resident discovered someone sleeping on their couch without permission. Police roused and arrested Anthony J. Lott, 25, of Fremont on charges of Disorderly Conduct and 1st Degree Criminal Trespassing.

Sunday morning just before 10AM, police cited Jessica L. Fincham, 38, of Fremont on suspicion of child abuse and neglect after two young children in her care were found wandering the neighborhood. The children, ages 1 and 6, were found outside without proper clothing.  They were in the care of Fincham, and apparently left the residence without her knowing.

Finally, on Sunday night around 10:15PM, police responded to an address in the 1900 block of east Dodge Street after receiving a domestic assault report. Michael A. Poppino, 33, of Fremont was accused of slapping a female acquaintance and behaving erratically. After an investigation  by the responding officers, Poppino was arrested on charges of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, Disturbing the Peace and Disorderly Conduct.
