Fremont Police Arrest Man For Tresspass, Theft, Numerous Other Charges

FREMONT – Fremont Police responded to a residence on Sunday night after someone entered the complainant’s apartment and began behaving erratically.

On Sunday 03/24/2019 at about 10:20PM Dennis J. Gantzert, 31, of Fremont was arrested on numerous charges after he allegedly walked into another person’s residence in the 1600 block of north Nye Avenue.

After officers arrived and were gathering information about the incident, Gantzert left in possession of the resident’s cell phone. Officers located Gantzert a short time later and he attempted to run from them again. Officers caught Gantzert who physically resisted their efforts to put him into custody. It is believed he was under the influence of drugs.

Gantzert was arrested and charged with Resisting arrest, theft by unlawful taking, 1st Degree Criminal Trespass, Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Acts Relating to Drugs.
