Fremont Man Arrested After Being Observed as Belligerent during Investigation

FREMONT – A Fremont man was arrested during an investigation into an alleged assault.

According to Lt. Ed Watts with the Fremont Police Department, at approximately 5 p.m. on Wednesday 26-year-old Tyrai S. Chiles of Fremont was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was made following an assault complaint investigation that took place in the 1600 block of W. 11th Street, said Watts.

Chiles was not involved in the alleged assault but was at the scene. FPD say he was observed by officers to be belligerent, including yelling, threatening others, and using profanity in public. He did not comply when officers requested him to stop. He was subsequently placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, said police.
