Fremont III Corps Task Force Arrests Two

FREMONT – The III CORPS Drug Task Force concluded a lengthy investigation last night, culminating in the arrest of two Fremont residents.

Agents of the III CORPS Drug Task Force, along with Detectives from the Fremont Police Department, served a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of West Military Avenue last night, Thursday the 28th of June. The search of the residence turned up illicit substances, and two men were arrested.

Carter L. Mitchell, 21, of Fremont and Adam M. Forde, 36, of Fremont were both arrested on suspicion of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine). This warrant execution was Mitchell’s second run-in with police on Thursday – he had been cited by Fremont Police¬†on suspicion of Possession of Marijuana Less than One Ounce and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in the early morning hours of the day, as well.
