FPD Responds to Multiple Thefts and Property Damage Over the Weekend

FREMONT – On Friday, Feb. 28, at approximately 1:00 p.m. a red Honda dirt bike was reported stolen from the back yard of a residence in the 600 block of north H Street. The theft is believed to have occurred between 11:00 a.m. and 12:40 p.m. on Friday. The value of the bike is estimated at $300.00.

On Saturday, around 8:15 p.m., a hit and run property damage accident was reported at a residence in the 1100 block of north D Street. It was reported that a gray Jeep Cherokee was traveling through the area at a high rate of speed and struck a silver Chrysler Pacifica that was parked on the street. The driver of the Jeep then left the area. Damage to the Chrysler is estimated at $5000.00.

On Sunday, at about 11:15 a.m., a theft was reported at a residence in the 300 block of east 3rd Street. The victim reported that someone entered her vehicle while it was parked outside of the residence and took her purse and its contents. The contents include a wallet, gift cards, her Nebraska Driver’s license and Social Security card. Estimated loss is $60.00.
