FPD Officers Arrest Three in Various Wednesday Incidents

FREMONT – The Fremont Police Department placed three people under arrest yesterday on charges spanning from outstanding warrants and disorderly conduct to domestic assault.

The first arrests occurred just after noon on Wednesday, when Fremont Police served an arrest warrant on a male subject who had been located in a residence in the 500 block of north I street.  As police made the warrant arrest, the subject’s girlfriend,Stacey L. Dale, 27, of Fremont became disorderly – yelling and becoming disruptive to the arrest process. Officers repeatedly warned her to calm down and re-enter her residence – requests she refused. As a result, Dale was placed under arrest and will face Disorderly Conduct charges.

The third arrest was made around 10PM on Wednesday night. Fremont Police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of Watson street to investigate reports of a domestic disturbance and possible assault. When police arrived, they determined that Greg L. Benne, 59, of Fremont had become violent during an argument, inflicting an injury to another person at that address. Police placed Benne under arrest on charges of  3rd degree domestic assault.
