FREMONT – The Fremont Police Department was dispatched to a shooting on Friday, at approximately 2:43 a.m.
It occurred in the parking lot of a business in the 500 block of west 23rd Street. The shooting happened after an argument between two males.
One victim, a 20-year-old male, sustained a non-life threatening injury and was taken by a third person to Fremont Methodist Health where he was treated and released.
Names and information about those involved has not been released yet. No arrests or citations have been issued at this time.
This is an active investigation being conducted by the Fremont Police Detective Bureau and further details will follow when they become available.
