NORFOLK, NE – The Norfolk Area Passport has finally arrived with 16 stops for you to visit with family and friends.
Executive Director for the Norfolk Visitors Bureau, Traci Jeffrey, encourages participants to stay awhile and enjoy the stops along the way.
Jeffrey says, “what I would encourage everyone to do when they get their passport stamped, enjoy that moment when you are in that store. It’s not a rush to get the passport completed the first time and you’re not going to get a prize for completing it at the first stop, so everyone just needs to enjoy these moments.”
Running from May 30th through September 30th, Jeffrey says that this is a great opportunity for participants to explore the downtown area with others.
“It’s a great opportunity for people to get out and see our beautiful downtown. We have so many great things going on right here in the heart of downtown.”
Team Leader at Magnolias, Laura Norris, says that Magnolia’s has had over 200 visitors from the program so far, and every time, it’s a great opportunity for her to meet new people and direct customers to other places around the area.
Norris says, “they’ve gone to the different restaurants and like it, so i think it’s just helped spread the word about Norfolk.”
Be sure to pick up your very own passport at the Norfolk Area Visitors Bureau or any participating retailer and complete it so you can enter to win a grand prize.
