STANTON – A man who escaped parole is back behind bars after being found over the weekend.
Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says 37-year old Shawn Harrington was arrested on Saturday. Sheriff Unger says his office found Harrington hiding in the attic of a residence southeast of Stanton.
Harrington was wanted by authorities absconding from parole earlier this month. He was paroled in December, after serving six months in prison for child abuse, domestic assault and drug convicitons in Madison, Cuming and Dodge Counties.
Sheriff Unger says 38-year old Marjorie Kuester of Stanton was also arrested for aiding and abetting as well as false reporting.
