Early Morning Disturbance Leads to One Arrest

FREMONT – Last Friday, one man was arrested after an early morning disturbance at a west 23rd street business.

On Friday April 13th just after 6:30AM, Fremont Police officers were dispatched to a business in the 1100 block of west 23rd Street where it was reported that a customer was being belligerent and bothering other customers.  Officers arrived and it was learned that a man had been yelling at fellow customers inside the business, caused an estimated $500 in damage to the window of a vehicle in the parking lot, and subsequently removed an article of clothing from that vehicle.

Police investigated and had contact with Bruce E. Wilkinson, 63, of Fremont.  Wilkinson was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Disturbing the Peace, and Disorderly Conduct.
