FREMONT – The Dodge County courthouse will be a little more difficult to reach due to downtown Fremont construction next week.
Beginning Monday, April 23rd, the east entrance to the courthouse will be temporarily closed. All employees and visitors will need to use the North entrance to the building, but will likely face parking challenges. Park Avenue from 5th street south will be closed for construction during certain periods and parking will also be unavailable on that street.
With the first half of real estate taxes coming due on April 30th, Cathy A Dill, Dodge County Treasurer, wants to remind people of their options to pay those taxes. Taxpayers can mail their payments to:
Dodge County Treasurer
c/o Cathy Dill
PO Box 999
Fremont, NE 68026-0999
Taxpayers can also drop their payments off in sealed envelopes using the red dropbox located in the alley to the west of the courthouse. Finally, you can also pay your real estate taxes online, here. There is a fee associated with online payments.
If you find yourself with questions about your Dodge county property taxes, you can see their FAQ here or call (402)727-2750.
