Continental Drift Music Festival Returns to Fremont

FREMONT – Nebraska bands will once again be returning to the Fremont Lakes for the Continental Drift Music Festival this Saturday.

Continental Drift Music Festival is a one-day, grassroots music festival. Since 2012, organized by Onken-Stein Records, the festival has included a line-up of 5-9 bands playing throughout the course of the day at one of Eastern Nebraska’s many parks. In 2017, the festival moved from Riverwest Park on Highway 275 near Omaha to the Fremont Lakes State Recreation Area.

2018’s Continental Drift Music Festival will take place this Saturday, September 15th, from 1:45PM through 10PM at the Fremont Lakes. Last year, the festival was held toward the southwest end of the Lakes, but this year’s festival will be a little more “front and center” in the park – on Victory Lake near the Tow Line.

The festival is free of charge with your park permit. Picnics, blankets, chairs and camping are all welcome, and the music will be family friendly.
